The new JLT Micro-JLT is designed to be the next-generation GNSSDO(tm) with lower SWaP-C, and higher performance than legacy GPSDOs. The unit is designed for very high volume, low-cost applications and provides the most rugged platform that JLT sells. It uses a latest generation GNSS receiver (low-cost GPS/Galileo option is also available for cost-sensitive applications), is form and function compatible to the highly popular FireFly-IIA GPSDO, and offers additional features for high-vibration/high-shock environments.
The Micro-JLT provides a sub-set of the features of the legacy FireFly-IIA and the Mini-JLT products to reduce cost, while at the same time offering comparable and higher performance, and the ability to address high volume applications with stream-lined manufacturing techniques. The Micro-JLT is compatible to the GPSCon control program freeware available on the support page of the JLT website, and is available with a large number of oscillator options such as Ultra-Extended Temp range SOCXO, DOCXO, and low-g/ruggedized DOCXO.
